Understand
Cascade in use

Apps using Cascade, and exactly how.

Small apps collect one kind of data well. Cascade Workbench is where it comes together for the family. Each entry gives its stage, what it uses, and what it stores.

The record

Cascade Workbench

A desktop app where a caregiver gathers a family's records, learns what they say with answers that cite the records, and prepares for appointments. A research helper, never a diagnosis tool.

Uses
The Cascade CLI alongside the app, to import, validate and query.
Stores
Pods on the caregiver's own computer. Connects to MyChart through SMART on FHIR.
Next
Takes in records from collectors such as Full Picture, beside the clinical record.

Uses
The pots vocabulary, through an early, private Swift implementation.
Stores
Test results as encrypted files on the phone. No health data is sent; usage analytics are optional.
